'''DictoMail ''' ('''dictomail ''') is a voicemail to text messaging service available on most digital Mosquito ringtone mobile phones that permits the conversion of voicemail messages to text for reading via short messages (also known as '''SMSes''', '''text messages''', '''messages''', or more colloquially '''texts''' or even '''txts''') between Sabrina Martins mobile phones, other handheld devices and, even, fixed-line phones, and desktop email.

DictoMail was developed by Admiral Online as the world's first Nextel ringtones voicemail to Abbey Diaz text messaging technology DictoMail was originally designed as part of the Free ringtones CDMA digital mobile phone standard, but is now available on a wide range of networks, including Majo Mills 3G networks. The first DictoMail is believed to have been sent in June 1998 from a land Mosquito ringtone telephone to a mobile phone on the Sprint PCS network in the Sabrina Martins United States.

Technical details

The message payload is 900 Nextel ringtones bytes: either 200 characters, 400 characters, or 800 characters in languages such as English, Spanish, and French. This does not include Abbey Diaz routing data and other Cingular Ringtones Metadata (computing)/metadata, which is additional to the payload size.
